As a sedative, Wild Cherry Bark is the perfect trusted remedy for easing cough, cold, lung; digestive issues; the pain associated with such ailments. Another favorite to aid the immune system is Elder Berry, which will provide the support your immune system needs to kick into high gear, while giving this syrup a delicious taste. Slippery Elm; Marshmallow are both mucilaginous herbs the work to coat the respiratory; digestive tract to ease the pain associated with a cough; sore throat. I’ve added Valerian Root for its muscle relaxant and pain reducing effects to help ease through discomfort the best way possible. Turmeric; Licorice root are both anti-inflammatory, and licorice is also antimicrobial and eases upper respiratory symptoms. A touch of Spearmint cools; soothes the throat to comfort. With local raw honey, a dash of orange peel, ginger, cinnamon; star anise, this formula is a delicious saving grace to bring ease during times of sickness and kick that cold!
